The Kick-Off Meeting of Activity 5 “Masterplan DIWA” was successfully held on 20th of January 2022 and marks the official starting point for the development of the approach for the final product of the DIWA masterplan providing a guidance for the development and implementation of the digital transformation of Inland Waterways for the support of navigation, traffic and transport management and logistics.
Participants discussed the presented approach and the related timing. The works on a rough structure and vision of the masterplan content will be started soon. A regular monitoring process will be estableshed to track important developments and draft findings. The team will use a cyclic update approach for the structure and content of the masterplan based on the progress of the Sub-Activities. The categorisation of recommendations will help deriving the detailed consequences and scenarios in the roadmap.
The draft results will be presented to the Stakeholder in the first half of 2023 to also include the feedback from the industry.
